Dental Implants
CASE 1
Michael came to us following an injury to his upper front teeth. He was also unhappy with the colour of his teeth. The upper right front tooth had to be removed and replaced with a dental implant. The implant was placed 8 weeks after the tooth was removed and a temporary crown was made for the implant which was left in place for three months. Finally the patient whitened his teeth and a ceramic permanent crown was placed on the implant along with some composite resin bonding on the adjacent teeth.
CASE 2
This 83-year-old gentleman wanted more flexibility than a denture could offer him. He was in a good state of health a total of eight implants we inserted - four in his upper jaw and four in the lower jaw. These provided him an excellent alternative to a denture and meant that he could now eat whatever he wanted!
CASE 3
This patient had put up with her smile for a long time and she was fed up with being unhappy with it. She felt that her upper teeth stuck out and she didn’t like the pointy tooth on the top right. We discussed her options with her and decided that the best result for both her smile and the long-term health of her teeth and bite would be to use a fixed Damon brace. The tooth straightening process took 14 months, correcting the upper and lower front and back teeth. After this the teeth were whitened, and we restored the top 6 front teeth with composite resin. Total treatment costs including orthodontics, whitening, bonding and retainers - £6000
CASE 4

She was very happy with the end result which was completed in time for her daughter’s wedding! Phew!
